Născut în anul 1944 la Turda și stabilit, din 1993, la Paris, a fost prezentat, multă vreme, drept „cel mai bine vândut pictor român”. Lucrările sale se află în muzee din toată Europa si au fost cumpărate de colecționari de pe patru continente.
