Two of Jazz<\/strong> is the concept that was born in 2018 and has as components Ioana-Teodora Spinu - voice (ROMANIA) and Lucas Contreras - guitar (COLUMBIA). The program of the two musicians includes arrangements and reinterpretations of some of the most beloved and well-known pieces from the standard jazz repertoire such as compositions by Sigmund Romberg, Cole Porter and Brooks Bowman. Among the notable appearances of this duo we mention the Jazz Festival - Sibiu, the Stone Film Festival - Piatra Neam\u021b, Green Hours - Bucharest, \u0218u\u0219ote - Constan\u021ba.<\/p>\n

Ioana-Teodora Sp\u00eenu was born in Constan\u021ba and studied singing and jazz at the \u201cRegina Maria\u201d National Art College. Continuing at the jazz department of the National University of Music in Bucharest, she is currently a master's student. She has given concerts in numerous festivals in Romania, including \u201cWomen on Silks\u201d, Street Delivery - Jazz for Kids, Outdoor Jazz Festival - Promenada Mall, National Improvisation Festival - Godot in Bucharest, within the Jazz Evenings and classical music - Radio Romania T\u00e2rgu Mure\u015f, Season of events "Music and arts at the museum" in T\u00e2rgu Mure\u015f, within the project "Padurea Rotund\u0103", Reghin and within the Filmul de Piatr\u0103 festival in Piatra Neam\u021b. The most recent project in which she is involved is called \u201cTarot Tales\u201d from the Romanian Playwrights Theater and is a musical by Mircea Tiberian based on texts by Saviana St\u0103nescu.<\/p>\n

Lucas Contreras is a jazz guitarist born in Colombia. He began his musical studies at the Universidad el Bosque Bogota, where he learned the basics of jazz and Latin American folklore. At the moment he is a student at the jazz department of the National University of Music in Bucharest. Able to combine his Latin influences with jazz music, Lucas Contreras is a versatile and dynamic musician. He sang in various formulas, from duet (guitar-vocals) to sextet. The most recent project in which he was involved is Cristina Radu quartet, a formula with which he sang at the Jazz In The Park festival in Cluj, with which they won the Special Award.<\/p>\n
