Ministry of Culture launches the eighth session for submitting candidacy files for obtaining the title LIVING HUMAN TREASURE<\/em>. The application files will be drawn up in Romanian, in accordance with the requirements of the Regulation and will be submitted by May 15.\u00a0(date of postage - in case of sending and date of receipt at the Registry of the Ministry of Culture - in case of personal submission),<\/strong> at the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture from Unirii Blvd. no. 22, 030833, sector 3, Bucharest - to the attention of the Secretariat of the National Commission for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. Their evaluation within the National Commission for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage will take place between June 2 and September 1, 2020. The final result will be officially announced on September 8, 2020. The following areas of activity will be considered:<\/strong><\/div>\n
\n

a) wood processing;<\/p>\n

b) stone processing;<\/p>\n

c) clay processing;<\/p>\n

d) metal processing;<\/p>\n

e) processing of textile fibers and yarns;<\/p>\n

f) leather and fur processing;<\/p>\n

g) bone and wax processing, horn and bone processing, shearing, candle processing;<\/p>\n

h) installations for capturing drinking water, grinding cereals, crushing and pressing seeds (presses), drying and smoking fruits (plums, parsnips, apples), brandy boiler, darts, pives, whirlpools, stamps;<\/p>\n

i) food;<\/p>\n

j) occupations;<\/p>\n

k) knowledge about man and nature;<\/p>\n

l) the port;<\/p>\n

m) spirituality;<\/p>\n

n) other elements of intangible cultural heritage.<\/p>\n

Application file for the title of\u00a0LIVING HUMAN TREASURE\u00a0<\/em>it will contain:<\/strong><\/p>\n

a) recommendation from the community;<\/p>\n

b) report prepared by a specialist in the fields of intangible cultural heritage;<\/p>\n

c) Biographical Note, according to the Annex, an integral part of the Regulation;<\/p>\n

d) documents \/ materials (photographs, CDs, DVDs, visual materials on digital or photographic support, etc.) that demonstrate the activity of the candidate for the title;<\/p>\n

e) statement on one's own responsibility regarding the veracity of the information contained in the Biographical Note;<\/p>\n

f) the written consent of the persons proposed under the conditions of art. 5 para. (1) lit. a and b regarding the application in order to obtain the title of\u00a0LIVING HUMAN TREASURE.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Commission may request data \/ materials in addition to those provided in the application file, in order to properly assess it.<\/em><\/p>\n

program\u00a0HUMAN TREASURES VII<\/a>, implemented by the Ministry of Culture, through the National Commission for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, aims at safeguarding, preserving and transmitting the intangible cultural heritage. The program aims at identifying and recognizing at national level those who are custodians and transmitters of traditional values and who make, through their talent and effort, proof of the exceptional nature of performance, being able to transmit a certain element of intangible heritage in the form and traditional means. unaltered, thus helping to ensure its viability.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
