Petru Asimionese was born in 1968 in the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine. He graduated from the Republican College of Fine Arts in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, but also the Academy of Visual Arts in Cluj-Napoca. Since 2004 he has been a Member of the Union of Visual Artists in Romania. He exhibited in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Chisinau, Satu-Mare, Piatra-Neamt and participated in art camps in Medgidia, Calimanesti, Ordino, Sucevita, Sighisoara, Byala, Lesu, Putna and Rasnov.
