Like any city in the world, post-war Bucharest had its characters. Among them: Sergiu Malagamba.

"By the end of the 1970s, passers-by turned their heads after a slender sixty-year-old, with smoky glasses with round lenses that gave him a mysterious air. He was dressed in tight clothes on his body, pants that were narrowing towards his thighs and invariably wearing white stockings. It was Sergiu Malagamba, a name that even entered children's folklore ("Sergiu Malagamba / The night turns off the lamp"). Conductor of some jazz and street bands, musical arranger, virtuoso drummer, Sergiu Malagamba (Bessarabian from Chisinau) had created a non-conformist clothing trend that bore his name: malagambism. And now you can taste the New Malagamba of Bucharest, in a tour that starts on Saturday, April 6, starting with 14:00.

The tour includes Hotel Lido, the Romanian Athenaeum, Athénée Palace Hilton, Stirbei Palace, Casa Coana Mita Biciclista, but also Alexandra's Gallery, the place where you can meet your favorite artist at any time, as well as the place where the guided tour ends with a socializing hour.
