On Thursday, January 17, 2019, Alexandra's Gallery is waiting for you at the first ROCAT Gala of this year. The protagonists will be the painter Dumitru Glodeanu and the sculptor Bogdan Turcea, in an event elegantly arbitrated by the Samburesti Domains.
The young Dumitru Mihai Glodeanu presents the image of the devoted artist who proudly assumes the works that were present in his galleries, both in the country and abroad, since his studies. The constructive approach and the constant presence of his works, on simeze, are and will be a real benefit both for the artist and for the Romanian art.
The sculptor Bogdan Turcea places his creation from this hour in the grammar and stylistics of a new anthropocentrism, being about to develop an unmistakable style. We have before us a path whose composition can be revealed on several levels that can provoke useful nuances and associations. We are invited to participate in an artistic discourse in which the artist knew how to "read" the fabric of symbols from Baroque to metaphysical expressionism with reverberations in the mystical and timeless "Orthodox - Platonic" vision, as stated by the creator of these works.
