On Wednesday, March 20, at 19.00, Alexandra's Gallery organized the ROCAT Gala with number 20, dedicated to the painter Marcel Bunea, with the participation of the art critic Marcel Plamadeala.
Paletacolaj ”is a unique project for both the exhibiting artist and Alexandra's Gallery, and the opening day, March 20, 2019, coincided with the birthday of the artist born in Cisnadie, Sibiu County. The approximately 60 works 23x23cm were made starting with the years 2012 to 2019 from own pallets, exhibited for the first time, as a wall installation in situ. The palette is for a painter the most intimate, the closest object to the workshop. The palette is the artist himself. Bunea's glued and framed palettes are works of art and personal history.
Along with Alexandra's Gallery, its traditional partner Aqua Carpatica ensured the optimal hydration of the guests, while Apriori Wine offered the possibility to taste noble wines, perfect for this beginning of spring (details HERE).
ROCAT means Romanian Century Art Tour and names a cultural project of Alexandra's Gallery, which takes place between 2017-2018, dedicated to the Centenary of Modern Romania. We promote painters, sculptors, graphic artists, writers, poets, musicians, photographers, filmmakers, collectors, jewelers and fashion designers to show Romanians that they have compatriots they can be proud of and foreigners to evolve as a European country without losing our vein of Romanian spirituality . ROCAT events take place in Alexandra's Gallery in the presence of 50-100 people who talk to artists, listen to music, admire the exhibits in the gallery. On the occasion of the ROCAT Gala, we also present Alexandra's loyalty program, through which art objects worth up to 5,000 euros can be purchased, with payment in installments.
